This notice explains the information collected through this website and how it is used to respond to homeowner requests.

Information we collect +
When you request help or subscribe to updates, we may collect the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, state, deadline, housing situation, and message. Standard website systems may also record basic device, browser, and traffic information.
How we use it +
Information is used to review and respond to requests, provide relevant educational resources, coordinate an appropriate referral when requested, maintain the website, measure outreach as described below, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
When information may be shared +
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that operate the website or communications, when you ask us to coordinate with a relevant support provider, or when disclosure is required to protect rights, safety, or comply with law.
Advertising measurement and HEA contact matching +

We use website analytics and advertising measurement tools, including Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and Statcounter, to understand website use and measure our outreach. These tools may collect page visits, browser and device information, IP addresses, and cookie or similar identifiers.

After a successful Home Equity Access Program form submission, we send Meta a standard Lead event. We may also use Meta Advanced Matching to send normalized, SHA-256-hashed first and last name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code supplied in that form. Meta can match these hashes with information associated with Meta accounts to measure advertising results. Hashing does not make this information anonymous.

This HEA integration does not send full street or property addresses, foreclosure or notice-of-default status, mortgage balances, amounts past due, equity, income, credit scores, or hardship answers to Meta. Contact identifiers are not added to page URLs. A short-lived, one-use browser record connects the accepted submission to its confirmation page and helps prevent duplicate Lead events.

For this HEA integration, browser Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track opt-out signals suppress the new Meta Lead and contact-matching data. Blocking tracking or declining it where a consent control applies does not prevent a form request from being submitted. For privacy questions or requests, use the Get Help form and state “privacy request.”

Information not to submit +
Do not send Social Security numbers, account passwords, bank account numbers, complete tax returns, or full unredacted financial documents through a general website form.
Security and retention +
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect submitted information. Information is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described, operational records, and legal obligations.
